Evelyn Partners, the professional services and wealth management group, is hosting a special event in Bristol to empower women to take control of their financial futures.
The lifestyle financial planning seminar on Wednesday, 6th November is part of a series of regular events that are helping to build a Bristol based community of supporters of women in business. The community’s focus is on creating a safe space to make new connections, building resilience, sharing experiences, offering learning opportunities and increasing self-confidence.
The event is being hosted by Evelyn Partners on the seventh floor of the EQ building, which will shortly be hosting its new Bristol office.
The November gathering will offer Bristol businesswomen an environment to reflect on their own financial aims and to learn more about the basics of good personal financial planning.
Attendees will:
Gain a better understanding of limiting beliefs and how they influence financial decisions
Recognise what matters most when it comes to financial planning
Meet other like-minded individuals who seek empowerment to take charge of their financial futures
Learn from a panel of women who tackle these challenges daily, including guest speakers who will share personal experiences
Guest speakers will include Kate Clarke, founder of financial recruitment firm Artemis Clarke, and Heledd Wyn, a private client partner at the law firm Shakespeare Martineau. Other speakers include Joy Wisniewski, an associate director in financial planning at Evelyn Partners, and Claire Roberts who is an experienced financial planner at the firm.
Helen Bassett, managing partner of Evelyn Partners’ Bristol office, said: “We welcome all local supporters of women in business to join our new community. Our November event will provide an interactive and engaging forum to allow you to reflect on what making effective financial decisions means for a meaningful life for you and your family.
“We’ll explore how to set clear, personalised goals aligned with your objectives and identify behavioural biases that may hold you back with practical strategies to overcome them.
“Whether you’re just starting your career or are well-established, it’s never too early or late to start planning your financial future.”
