Clarke Willmott's social housing team appointed to multi-million pound housing panel

National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has been reappointed to serve on a panel of leading housing specialist law firms as part of an estimated £30 million legal services framework agreement.

The firm is among a group of law firms named by the Housing Associations’ Legal Alliance (HALA), a collaborative partnership between some of the UK’s leading housing associations.

Clarke Willmott, whose specialist social housing team is one of the largest in the UK, was appointed to supply advisory services for housing and asset management and corporate, governance and finance, ‘lots’.

Lindsay Felstead, who co-heads the firm’s social housing team alongside Vicky Kells, and is also head of the housing management team, said: “We are delighted to have been reappointed to continue delivery of legal services to the HALA framework.

“We are proud to help support HALA members to ensure they can provide the best service to their residents and remain at the forefront of an ever-changing social housing landscape.”

Clarke Willmott’s social housing sector team, which is nationally ranked within legal directories Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, acts for a large number of Registered Providers (RPs), Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and Local Authorities (LAs). It can deal with a wide variety of issues that these organisations face and has pre-existing relationships with many of the HALA framework members, having consistently been appointed onto the framework for a number of years.

HALA was formed in 2010 for the purpose of ensuring greater value for money in the delivery of legal services to its members.

Clarke Willmott is a national law firm with offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton, and Taunton.  For more information visit www.clarkewillmott.com.
