Chance to work in Bridgwater’s newest day nursery

Nursery staff in Bridgwater are being invited to apply for a position at a new nursery catering for babies, toddlers and pre-school children opening in Spring 2020.

Mama Bear’s Day Nursery and Pre-School will open its doors at The Exchange, Express Park, and is looking to fill various positions from Level 2 practitioners up to Nursery Manager.

The new nursery will be filled with the latest educational resources with a dedicated role play area, cosy book snug, dressing up corner and plenty of loose parts play resources to encourage creativity.

Erica Cross, Marketing Manager at Mama Bear’s, said: “We are really excited to be opening our first Bridgwater nursery and we’re keen to find the right team to share our passion and pride in high-quality early education.

“It’s a fantastic nursery which has been recently refurbished and in a great location so it’s a lovely environment to work in.

“Mama Bear’s is a family-run business which promotes continued professional development. Everyone here has a passion for childcare and everyone works together to deliver the best care possible. The benefit of working in a nursery group like ours is that team members can harness the support of a number of people and departments.

“The group has 23 other settings across the South West meaning practitioners will benefit from a network of support and ample opportunity for progression.”

Mama Bear’s Bridgwater opened its doors for the first time this week when it welcomed prospective parents in for an exclusive tour.

The open day, attended by parents and children, gave families the chance to meet staff, take a look at the state-of-the-art facilities and find out more. Free children’s entertainment, face painting and activities were also included.

Erica continued: “We had a great time at our first open event in Bridgwater and were thrilled with the fantastic turnout from local families interested in registering with us.

“We have spaces available for children aged three-months to five-years, although some of those age groups are filling up quickly.

“If you didn’t manage to make it to our open day but are interested in taking a look around, please get in touch and we’d be more than happy to offer you a private showaround.”

Mama Bear’s will provide a Flexi-Care model of childcare aimed at helping parents who work shifts or as freelancers arrange childcare to suit their ever-changing schedules.

The nursery is conveniently located just off the A38 Bristol Road, easily accessible for families living to the North of Bridgwater. The nursery is in close proximity to the Avon and Somerset Police Centre, the Morrisons RDC and many other local businesses.

Mama Bear’s provides a nurturing, home-from-home environment for children aged three-months to five years. It offers high-quality early years education to prepare children for the big step up to primary school.

The nursery will be open fully in Spring ready for the Summer Term.
