Chance to work at brand new nursery

A unique opportunity has arisen for Bristol childcare practitioners to work at a brand new nursery setting opening in Spring 2022.

The Mama Bear’s Day Nursery & Pre-School at Charlton Hayes will open its doors for the first time next year and the group is looking for an enthusiastic team of staff to launch and run the setting.

Benefitting from working in a completely new environment with the best high-quality resources, staff will also receive full training opportunities and the support that comes from joining a regional nursery group.

Positions available include everything from Level 2 practitioners to managerial level roles.

Chris Marston, managing director of Mama Bear’s, said: “It is not often that childcare workers have the opportunity to work in a brand new setting with a new, handpicked team.

“This is a fantastic chance for anyone who has gotten a little bored in their current role or setting or perhaps someone who has left childcare and would like to return to the profession.

“We’re looking for a really vibrant, enthusiastic and forward-thinking team to get this nursery off the ground and cement it as the leading centre for childcare in the area.

“We’d also like to appoint the team as soon as possible so they can bond and help us prepare for the arrival of the first children next year.”

Charlton Heights nursery at Charlton Hayes is a purpose-built setting providing much-needed childcare for Charlton Hayes, Patchway and surrounding areas.

The 96-place setting will care for children aged three-months to five years from 7.30am to 6pm, all year round and is the 25th nursery in the Mama Bear’s Day Nursery group.

Demand is expected to be high for the nursery, which will be fully-resourced with new age-appropriate toys and equipment and outdoor play spaces.
