Staff from Chipping Sodbury-based Redcliffe Homes switched their focus for one day from house-building to team-building.

A group of 30 staff members from the independent developer enjoyed a wide range of experiences at Mojo Active, an outdoor activity centre near Bristol.

They tackled low ropes, laser clays, a blind four-by-four, a table-top exercise and even axe-throwing during the day.

Tom O’Connor, Managing Director of Redcliffe Homes, said: “It was good to get everyone together for a natter, the food was excellent, although we weren’t expecting some of the ‘management’ challenges, which really got us thinking.

“The afternoon party games really made me laugh, especially watching Sam see how many times he could shake his head in two minutes! I think he’s only just come out of traction.

“Special mention should also go to Paul Hammond, who had to run the gauntlet, avoiding a volley of (rubber) arrows as his special birthday treat!”.

He added: “It was a really enjoyable day, with lots of laughter, but behind it was an important message about the value of working as a team.

“Ensuring we have a strong sense of camaraderie and people-orientated values reflects on the quality of service Redcliffe Homes is able to deliver to our customers.”
