The latest developments and challenges in the regional, national and international economy will come under the spotlight at an event being hosted next week by professional services and wealth management group Evelyn Partners.
The firm’s annual Insights For Finance Leaders seminar takes place at its Bristol office in Portwall Place, Redcliffe, on Tuesday, 26th November.
A panel of experts will lead discussions on:
Changes to accounting and corporate reporting standards, with a focus on issues for December 2024 year-ends onwards
Tax developments following the Budget, including corporate taxes, VAT and employment taxes, plus what businesses are doing to protect and create value through their tax position, as well as best practices in tax governance
Market deal trends, including insights on how current conditions influence market appetite and key value drivers underpinning valuations
Helen Bassett, managing partner at Evelyn Partners in Bristol, said: “The economic landscape continues to be complex and uncertain given this year’s change in government and the recent Budget, and politicaluncertainty and instability globally.
“This inevitably adds to the challenges and opportunities management teams must seek to navigate every day.
“Finance leaders need to ensure they understand the impact of key changes across tax, financial reporting and governance, as well as the implications for the underlying value of their business.”
Lunch will be provided after the event, which takes placefrom 10.30am-12.30pm. To register please email Kim Lee at bristol-events@evelyn.com
