Matthew event in Winterbourne
On 25 May in the Winterbourne Medieval Barn, Clive Burlton will tell the story of the modern Matthew - a representation of the medieval Matthew that was sailed across the North Atlantic by John Cabot in 1497.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the modern ship, Bristol Books was commissioned by the Matthew Trust to write and produce a commemorative book.
Copies of the book and other Bristol Books titles will be available to buy on the night. Proceeds will help both the Winterbourne Medieval Barn Trust and the Matthew of Bristol Trust.
