How Mama Bear's tots marked Children In Need

Children at all 24 of the Mama Bear’s Day Nurseries across Bristol, Somerset and Devon had a lovely time helping raise money for this year’s Children in Need with a variety of imaginative and fun-packed activities keeping them busy.

Preschoolers at The Bush in Totterdown made Pudsey The Bear out of playdough, created Pudsey The Bear on a dot to dot worksheet and made Pudsey hats for themselves.

The tots at Gospel Hall in Whitchurch loved guessing how many sweets in the jar, dressing up in spotty costumes and pyjamas and had a fabulous cake sale

At the Wells Road nursery in Hengrove there was a sports day, a ‘cookies and pyjama day’ and a cake sale which raised £51 for Children in Need.

Groveleaze nursery in Shirehampton also had a pyjama day, the babies did a sponsored dance, and toddlers and pre-schoolers burned off their energy doing sponsored laps. Their sponsored activities plus the nursery’s popular cake sale combined to raise a total of £247.4

The family-run Mama Bear’s group runs day nurseries across Bristol and the South West and is known for its affordable and flexible childcare provision, giving children their first vital level of education to give them a head-start when they start at primary school.
