An exhibition and sale of eight artworks of traditional and modern Tibetan icons, created over decades of meticulous research and work, will go on public display in a Glastonbury art gallery in June.

“The Empowered Series” was created by artist Keebee, who spends part of each year in her native France and part in the Mendip Hills where the countryside forms part of her inspiration. In recent years she has created art while living in the City of Wells and the historic town of Somerton.

Prints of the eight icons, which aid meditation and spirituality will be displayed at Glastonbury Galleries in the High Street, Glastonbury from June 18 to 26.

Said Keebee: “These works have been a labour of love over many years and are now ready to be shared with the public. We have made high quality prints for the first time so that people can have the images in their own homes or meditation space.

“We chose Glastonbury as the place to launch this series of prints as it is a centre for spirituality and close to the Mendips, which has been an inspiration to me.”
