South West law firm ranked top for several practice areas In new chambers guide
The South West offices of national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP are celebrating after achieving top rankings in the prestigious Chambers UK 2021 Directory.
The Bristol and Taunton offices achieved the highest possible ranking - Band 1 - in an impressive five practice areas – Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Family (Bristol), Family (Somerset), Personal Injury and Professional Negligence as well as achieving Band 1 for Private Wealth Law in the Chambers’ prestigious High Net Wealth Guide which was released in July.
A further 14 practice areas were ranked in Bands 2 and 3 and eight partners were named individually as Band 1 and therefore leading in their field – Mark Buckerfield for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Chris Thorne for Clinical Negligence, Lee Hart for Personal Injury, Caroline Waller and Neil Baker for Planning, Alex Jakubowski for Litigation and Tim Walker and Nicola Seager for Real Estate.
The results come shortly after the offices received Top Tier rankings in the leading industry Guide Legal 500 earlier this month.

Across all of its seven regional offices, Clarke Willmott has been ranked in 35 practice areas, an increase of two on last year.
A total of 74 individual lawyers are ranked, up eight on last year’s results, with 12 Band 1 rankings, five listed as Associate to Watch, two Star Associates and four noted as Up and Coming. Additionally, CEO Stephen Rosser continues to be recognized as an Eminent Practitioner.
