North Somerset MP receives 400 emails about Dominic Cummings
North Somerset MP Dr Liam Fox has had so many angry emails from constituents about the Prime Minister’s Special Adviser Dominic Cummings that he is unable to reply to them personally.
Dr Fox promised to post his views on the scandal that is rocking the heart of the Government during the Covid-19 pandemic on his website “shortly” some 24 hours after Mr Cummings explained his actions at a press briefing in London that was broadcast live on the BBC.
Dr Fox’s office said that more than 400 emails had been received in two days as angry constituents, who have obeyed the Government instructions, called for action over Mr Cummings, who drove to Durham with his family when he suspected they had contracted Covid, then spent time at a beauty spot with his family, a trip he said was to test whether he could drive with poor eyesight.
