Linear – An Exhibition by Bonnie Brown

Until Wednesday 20th September, Durlston Country Park’s Fine Foundation Gallery is showcasing the latest work by Purbeck artist Bonnie Brown, made in a response to her regular runs in the Purbeck landscape. The exhibition will be open daily from 10:30am – 5pm.

Trained at Winchester School of Art. Bonnie lives & works in Swanage and creates work based on her different runs in the Purbeck landscape in all weathers and times of day, from early morning to night runs with a headtorch.

The exhibition, based in the beautiful Fine Foundation Gallery at Durlston will showcase Bonnie’s works in graphite, charcoal and collage and will highlight the ideas of fragility of light and water; her observations of the boundaries between land, sea, and air; and the emotional connection found between Bonnie and the space that she runs through. A variety of these intricate works will be on sale during the exhibition which is free to enter.

Durlston Country Park’s Shannon Dugdale said “We’re very pleased to welcome Bonnie to the Fine Foundation Gallery and I’m excited to see the personal journey that Bonnie represents in each piece of work.”

Bonnie is also inviting people to join her for her Private View on Sunday 10th September from 2pm – 4pm to celebrate the opening of her exhibition.
