Family homes in Wrington selling fast

New family homes in Wrington, North Somerset are selling fast with buyers keen to move in this summer so that children can make a fresh start at local schools in September.

Redcliffe Homes has sold 63% of the Cox’s Green development in just four months as the village of Wrington proves attractive to those who want to live in beautiful countryside but within easy reach of Bristol.

Sales advisor Jane Briscoe said: “Despite all the difficulties people are experiencing with moving home while the Covid-19 restrictions are in place we have seen interest beyond our expectations.

“It seems that families in particular want to ensure that they can move at the right time of the year and they are looking for homes that will be ready for occupation as soon as lockdown is over and we head into the summer.

“Cox’s Green is in a great rural location, with easy access to Bristol and the airport once work and travel returns to normal, a useful number of village shops on the doorstep, a children’s play area within walking distance and a variety of sports catered for close by.

“The development is being built using materials that complement the surrounding countryside and the appearance of the new homes here - plus the variety of designs available - is attracting a lot of positive feedback.

“We have six three-bedroom Sherston type properties now available – all detached - that are attracting a great deal of interest as the timing is perfect for families wanting to complete a move before the new school year.”

Homes at Cox’s Green are in the catchment area for Churchill Academy - ranked Outstanding by OFSTED - with school bus services running from the village centre, and Wrington Primary School within walking distance for younger children.

The six homes currently available are individually designed with a kitchen-diner, separate living room and cloakroom off the hallway downstairs, while upstairs the main bedroom has an en-suite and there are two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The homes have garages, driveways and private gardens as well as access to footpaths and green space so that people can head out to enjoy the countryside with the backdrop of the Mendip Hills on their doorstep.

Viewings can be booked by calling Jane Briscoe on 01934 313375. Opening hours are Thursday to Monday, 10am to 5pm. For more details see www.redcliffehomes.co.uk
