Regional building and plant magazine launching

Regional building and plant magazine launching

A new quarterly magazine is being launched in the South West to support the region’s building, construction and plant industry.

Building Plant News is an A4 full colour magazine with news for everyone in construction, plant, civil engineering, groundworks, utilities and demolition plant hire. The magazine will be read by builders, architects, construction companies and distributed dirtectly to businesses and builders merchants. It will have an accompanying website.  It is being launched by Nikki Cook, who runs the successful WhatsOn series of magazines in the region and previously ran Building Trade & Industry newspaper.

She said: “The new magazine will be setting the agenda with news, analysis, campaigns, training, new products to the market, recruitment and anything that helps shape the future of building.

“We want to help people do business in our region better, with latest news, features and reports and breaking news we aim to be a market leader in both print and to read online.”  An initial 35,000 copies of the magazine will be distributed throughout the South West and Wales. The magazines will be delivered to builders and roofers merchants, new developments, plumbing centres, direct to construction companies, civil engineering companies, local authorities, investors etc.

A dedicated promotional team has been set up to be at events in the forthcoming months handing our copies of the magazine. An additional 6,500 copies are also sent out electronically to readers that have requested the magazine.

Advertisers in Building Plant News magazine will also be promoted free of charge for 3 months on: www.buildingplantnews.co.uk, which launches in June.
