Osborne Clarke celebrates stellar Legal 500 rankings

Firm is top rated by new Legal 500 in 18 of its Bristol-based practices – with 20 partners named as “leading individuals” 


International legal practice Osborne Clarke has retained its place in the front rank of the South West’s law firms with the release of this year’s Legal 500 rankings.  

The firm, which has more than 500 staff at its Temple Quay office, is ranked in the top tier in 18 of its Bristol-based practices in this year's Legal 500, ranging from corporate and commercial and employment, to commercial property, banking and finance and IT and telecoms.

Six Bristol-based lawyers at Osborne Clarke – which has its headquarters in London, an office in Reading plus multiple international offices – have been named in this year's Legal 500 "hall of fame", which highlights those who have "received constant praise from their clients for continued excellence", and who are deemed to be "at the pinnacle of their profession." 

They are Peter Clough, who is head of Osborne Clarke's Bristol office, in commercial litigation, Alisdair Livingstone (corporate and commercial), Philip Moss (corporate tax), Omar Al-Nuaimi (banking and finance), Alan John (energy) and Clare Robinson (Intellectual Property).

Meanwhile 21 partners at the Bristol office of Osborne Clarke are recognised as being leading individuals in their field:
